On the Day of Women and Girls in Science today, February 11, a meeting of the STEAM alliance will take place under the slogan, 'Girls standing up for science'.
The act will be chaired by the President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez. The Minister of Education and Vocational Training, Pilar Alegría, will also intervene. In addition, it will be attended by the Minister of Science and Innovation, Diana Morant, and the Minister of Equality, Irene Montero.
The results of the first report on the gender gap in STEAM training will be presented by five STEAM ambassadors who will tell their experience:
The session will be conducted by Pampa García Molina, scientific journalist and chief editor of the SINC news agency, and can be follow the streaming through the Ministry´s Youtube channel.
The STEAM Alliance is an initiative of the Ministry of Education and Vocational Training that has the support of a hundred companies and entities committed to promoting the scientific-technological vocations of girls and young people.
