On Thursday, June 13, a technical conference about the ACADEMY Program 2024 was held at the amenities of the Ministry of Education, Vocational Training and Sports.
This program is framed within the actions of Euroguidance Spain as one of the European initiatives to specifically promote the mobility of guidance professionals.
The purpose of this working meeting, organized by the Professional Guidance and Lifelong Learning Unit of the Ministry, was to share what was learned in the study visits completed, as well as to assess the usefulness and operation of this initiative, which promotes the connection between European counselors and the knowledge and dissemination of good practices. The participants in this edition of Academia 2024 attended to conclude their participation in the program.
The Head of the Unit's Guidance Service spoke first, welcoming the attendees and presenting some ideas associated with the professional guidance framework in its European dimension. Next, in their respective presentations, all participants highlighted the interest of the Program and its positive impact on a personal and professional level, to contribute innovative practices to their respective workplaces and to apply some of the learning acquired through this exchange with other European colleagues.
Finally, Sandra Rey de Viñas, representing the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports of Castilla-La Mancha, an autonomous community collaborating in this edition with the Ministry, intervened to explain the development of the study visit completed by European counselors in several education and employment centers in the provinces of Toledo and Cuenca. She also highlighted the importance of supporting and facilitating these actions, which in Spain are part of the Erasmus + Program, and the efforts of her autonomous community.
