Euroguidance Network webinar: Qualifications Framework and Accreditation of Competences - Implications for Career Guidance

Organised by the Euroguidance centres in Portugal and Spain, the webinar entitled ‘Qualifications Framework and Accreditation of Competences - Implications for Career Guidance’ will be held on 14th May.

Vocational Training systems represent a clear governmental commitment in Spain and Portugal to achieve the labour insertion of people, for which they offer a multitude of options and training itineraries. The existence of competence accreditation processes completes the possibilities of a system that must officially certify non-formal training and the professional trajectory of citizens. In this way, the recognition of professional qualifications, their implications for training and the consequences for present and future jobs are highlighted.

This event will feature two speakers:

• Teresa Duarte (Portugal), who works in the National Qualifications Catalogue Department of the National Agency for Qualifications and Vocational Training (ANQEP, I.P.).
• Laura Ferri (Spain), Head of the Lifelong Learning Service at the General Secretariat for VET of the Ministry of Education, VET and Sport.
