First, Teresa Duarte, a member of the National Qualifications Catalogue team of the National Agency for Qualifications and Vocational Education and Training in Portugal, explained the strategy of the National Qualifications System, as well as its structures and the instruments and tools they use. In addition, he spoke to us in detail about the National Qualifications Framework in Portugal, which is a comprehensive, integrative, revaluing and articulated framework.

On the other hand, Laura Ferri, head of the Lifelong Learning service in the Vocational Guidance and Lifelong Learning Unit at the Ministry of Education, Vocational Training and Sports of Spain, after commenting on the map of opportunities and itineraries of the new Vocational Training System, offered a detailed explanation of the process of accreditation of professional skills in Spain. She also spoke about the new procedure for the accreditation of basic skills.
