Yesterday, it took place the national dissemination day of Europass, the "Europass Infoday 2025. 20 years promoting mobility and employability in Europe".
This conference, organised by the Spanish Service for the Internationalisation of Education (SEPIE), celebrated 20 years since the creation of the Europass portal. To do this, a tour was made of the entire history of the platform, as well as all the changes it has undergone and the services that have been included. Among the latter, the European Digital Credentials for Learning (EDC) stand out, which allows all the training acquired, both in the formal and non-formal field, to be accredited.
In addition, presentations were made on other European networks that establish synergies with Europass and with whom they share a large part of their work. These networks are EURES (belonging to National Employment Service, which promotes labour mobility and job offers in Europe), Eurodesk (belonging to Youth Institute, which promotes advice and mobility opportunities among the young population) and Euroguidance (belonging to the Vocational Guidance and Lifelong Learning Unit of the Ministry of Education, Vocational Training and Sports). In relation to the latter, Nuria Ballesteros, the Head of the Guidance Service of the Vocational Guidance and Lifelong Learning Unit, gave a presentation in which she explained the actions of the Euroguidance network, both nationally and Europeanly, and its impact on lifelong guidance and the Vocational Training System.
It was a very enriching event for all those interested in the different European initiatives, which value coordinated work in the search for progress and personal and professional development of citizens.
