11th VET Congress. Sharing experiences

The 11th Vocational Training Congress organised by FP Empresa took place in Cartagena (Murcia) on 3rd and 4th April 2025. Numerous speakers, experts in the sector, shared their experiences and knowledge on the implementation of the new legislative framework for VET in our country. To welcome all attendees and open the event, the General Secretary for Vocational Training, Esther Monterrubio, introduced the current situation in the implementation of the VET Law, approved in 2022. In her participation, Esther Monterrubio defended the importance of Dual Vocational Training to guarantee employability and to respond to the profiles demanded by the labour market.

During the two days of the event, interesting topics have been covered, such as differences between general and intensive dual VET, the regulatory development in the different Autonomous Communities, the implementation of the new transversal modules, the emergence of new professional profiles, such as the expert teacher, or the development of a new strategy for professional guidance.
