The Association of Vocational Training Centres FPEmpresa and Dualiza (the Bankia Foundation's brand for the promotion of VET) are once again launching the Convocatoria de Orientación Activa, a call for grants to promote innovative and proactive guidance actions towards Vocational Training.

The call, which is open to guidance projects carried out between 1 January 2021 and 30 June 2021, is aimed at any educational centre that teaches Vocational Training in any of the autonomous communities.

"For the Association of Vocational Training Centres FPEmpresa, guidance continues to be a key element if we want to properly promote Vocational Training throughout society", emphasises the president of FPEmpresa, Luis García. "Active guidance is one of the tasks of vocational training centres", he adds.

The director of Dualiza, Juan Carlos Lauder, underlined that "we still need a boost in career and vocational guidance throughout our lives, and that this guidance contributes to making VET a first training option for all those who choose their future". He added that "with initiatives such as this call, we seek to encourage all schools to increase actions in this direction".

The projects presented may be related to any of the Professional Families offered in the 2021/2022 academic year. In addition, depending on the type of application, two different modalities will be available:

- Modality I: applications presenting completed VET-oriented initiatives.

- Modality II: applications presenting guidance initiatives in progress or pending and, therefore, not yet finalised.

The designated Evaluation Committee will evaluate all guidance initiatives submitted. The financial amount of the grants for those that are selected will be up to a maximum of 2,500 euros per centre.

The aim of this call for applications is to reinforce support to educational centres for the implementation of actions that promote a greater and better knowledge of Vocational Training among Primary, ESO and/or Baccalaureate students and in which the centres themselves play a clearly proactive role.

The deadline for submitting applications is 28 April to 19 May 2021.

Applications for this call for applications can be submitted using the forms available on the website https://www.dualizabankia.com/.
