Austrian Euroguidance Conference 2021 "Green Guidance"

The Austrian Euroguidance conference on 11 November 2021 focused on the question of what impulses Career Guidance can provide in shaping a greener and more ecological future for all. The event was linked to the objectives of the new Erasmus+ 2021-2027 programme, the European Green Deal and the European Skills Agenda.

Green Guidance" gives a broader perspective to career choice by asking a simple question: "What are the implications of my career choice in terms of sustainability?".This puts career decisions center stage, by entailing more personal commitment, social involvement and meaning. In relation to globalization and social justice, it puts orientation in a central global position: environmental issues and sustainability concerns know no borders," notes Peter Plant.
